About 50mins from Busselton, Rivermouth Rd, Prevelly. Where Margaret River meets the Indian Ocean. A surfing spot for all levels. Great view points. Lots of facilities including a coffee van (not sure how often there). There is a walk trail up the river. Dogs aren’t allowed at the Rivermouth.
SURFERS POINT
50mins from Busselton. Surfers Point Road. The number one surfing spot it Margaret River. Great spot for watching surfers and sunsets. Favourite part "Fraggle Rock". Large carparks, grassy banks and shade. Toilets. BBQ. Lots of benches. This is where the Margaret River Pro World Championship gets hosted. If you go at low tide, lots of rock pools.
YALGARDUP WATERFALL
About 45mins from Busselton, Kevil Road. Also know as Margaret River Waterfalls, Woodyche Falls or Kevill Road Falls. Not far from waterfall cottages. These falls are right next to the road with a parking bay to pull off onto. These would have to be one of the easiest falls to get to. About 5-10mins to get to Margaret River. Best to visit in early Spring or Winter. Just watch for kangaroos.
