MANJIMUP

GLENORAN POOL & ONE TREE BRIDGE
Just over an hour from Busselton. 2037 Graphite Rd Glenoran. The bridge was made by felling one Karri tree on the bank to span the width of the river. In 1966 it became unusable due to floods. There is now also a new suspension bridge and a walk trail. Toilets, bbq area and the popular Glenoran Pool is a short walk away. The pool is great for swimming and fishing. I have read that on the walk trail there are some small waterfalls. One tree bridge you can no longer cross it but still cool to see. Follow the directions to the parking then follow the path under the road and you will see the one tree bridge up on the left. Tables and fire pit at Glenoran Pool. No dogs sorry

DIAMOND TREE
1.5hr from Busselton, just south of Manjimup. GPS: -34.3203, 116.121 So the diamond tree is no longer open to climb but still a great place for a picnic and a walk. Great news is you can take your dog there on leash to explore too! The diamond tree used to be a fire lookout and still cool to see.
It closed due to rot in the base of the tree. There is a walk trail there but we didn’t check it out but the area is lovely and there is information bay about the diamond tree.

MANJIMUP TIMBER PARK
1.5hours from Busselton. 33 Edwards Street Manjimup. There are old trains, walk trails, wood turning demos (I think mostly on the weekend), bbq and a 5 star adventure playground with one of the biggest slides. It is locked though but opens from 9am-8pm from Oct-Mar and 9am-5pm April-Sept. There is also a timber museum
