WATER WHEEL

1hr15mins from Busselton. 697 Leeuwin Rd, Leeuwin. Right near the Leeuwin lighthouse, this waterwheel used to supply water to the lighthouse in the 1890's. There is also a walk trail leading from here to skippy rock. This is also the starting point for the cape to cape trail. Sorry no dogs

HAMELIN BAY

1hr from Busselton. Best time between 9am-10am or in the late afternoon. It’s a busy spot in the peak holiday season but well worth the visit. The rays frequent the boat ramp and glide in and out with the waves. If you stand in the water they may swim over your feet and flutter back into the water. They are wild and most have a barb on their tails, so care is always required around these beautiful animals. The beach is beautiful and in summer you’ll likely find a Millers Ice Cream van in the car park too
